Performing Arts: Our stories are inspired by the natural cycles of the seasons, the history of the neighbourhood and the people who have made it their home. Performances take place outside in every corner of the park and everyone is invited to participate along with the actors and musicians.

Visual Art programming generally consists of collaborative works that are either designed to improve elements in the park, or to be incorporated into costumes & sets for our performances.

For the wading pool we made finger labyrinths and designed a ‘Tree of Life’ labyrinth to be painted directly into the concrete of the wading pool. For the storytellers, we studied copper repousse and created an enormous ‘copper swirl’ as a neat set piece. And of course our skateboard art and skatepark design/build workshops were a major hit.
